Randa is a senior climate policy and ESG expert with more than 25 years of experience advising international organizations, governments, and the private sector on climate strategy, sustainable finance, and environmental governance. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Imperial College London and has led high-level policy and climate finance initiatives across multiple regions.

She has served as Senior Climate Policy Advisor and Africa-Middle East Stakeholder Engagement Lead with the UN High-Level Climate Champions for COP27 and COP28, supporting climate diplomacy, private sector engagement, and implementation pathways aligned with global climate commitments. She has also consulted for UNCDF, UNFCCC, UNDP, and the European Union on climate finance, sustainable development, and the health impacts of climate change.

Previously, Randa was Climate Change Policy Manager at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) at the British Embassy in Cairo, leading climate engagement strategies and supporting bilateral green partnerships. She also served as Senior Advisor to the Egyptian Minister of Environment and as National Designated Authority (NDA) focal point for the Green Climate Fund in Egypt, overseeing climate finance coordination and supporting national project pipelines.

With professional experience spanning North America, Europe, Japan, and the MENA region, she brings strong expertise in climate governance, international cooperation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory at the intersection of policy, finance, and implementation.
